Frequently Asked Questions
We understand that starting a new activity can be a big step for both children and parents. Here are answers to the questions we hear most often. If your question isn’t listed, please reach out to us directly.
Our sessions are specifically designed for neurodiverse children. We use smaller groups, high coach-to-child ratios, and a "praise-first" approach. We focus on individual comfort, social boundaries, and fundamental movement rather than high-pressure competition.
We currently run weekly sessions across Letterkenny, Strabane, Derry, Omagh, Sligo, and Enniskillen. Most sessions run for 60 minutes, but we maintain a flexible environment where children can take sensory breaks whenever needed.
Our core community sessions are designed for children aged 4 to 12 years old. We group children based on both age and their individual support needs to ensure everyone feels comfortable.
No. We are an inclusive club for any child who feels they would benefit from a neuro-diverse friendly environment. Whether your child has a formal diagnosis or is simply waiting for an assessment, they are welcome at NDFC.
